VTCT Level 3 Award in Education and Training

ET3A1 – VTCT Level 3 Award in Education and Training is is aim to develop your knowledge and understanding of teaching role. During this course you will learn about preparation, planning and basic course design. You will also gain teaching delivery skills and participate in microteaching sessions, evaluation skills and techniques also form part of the course content. This qualification provides a sound introduction to teaching/training and is suitable for both experienced practitioners who would like to secure a professionally recognised qualification as well as those new to teaching. The VTCT Level 3 Award in Education and Training will enable you to work in a teaching role and progress on to a broader teaching qualification.

We are offer onsite and  Virtual Learning Environment (online)

We utilise a VLE to directly teach online and provide teaching materials, Students can now attend from any location provided they have Internet, computer, phone or tablet access and complete their course in a timely, safe and practical manner.  We are able to deliver our theory, practical and demonstration via the VLE.  This means attendance onsite is currently only required for Practical assessment, Practical Exams and online exam.

This also means that students who are unable to attend classes or sessions can still be provided with catch-up works and notes, material and session recordings.

To book your course, please make the full payment of the course fee, once the payment has been received we will provision your access and send you the registration form and VLE classroom login details and distribute our schedule via the calendar built in the the VLE.

Course Structure:

• UET1 Understanding roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training
• UET2 Understanding and using inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training
• UET5 Understanding assessment in education and training

The course includes:

The course is structured around theory, and home study, homework assignments, online classroom and onsite class-room tuition,  practical activities (onsite only), practical exam and complete portfolio reference and evidence. We will provide you full support and give you a guideline throughout until you complete your course.

Course duration: This course can be completed in 8 weeks plus one day practical exam, which could be done one days a week for 9 weeks. This course offers the opportunity for practice in a real working environment

Time: 11.00am – 17.30pm

Start Date: Every Tuesday and Thursday, next course available on next Thursday, however, the date are flexible from Monday-Saturday. Please contact us to arrange your convenient date.

Course fees and payment term:

Course Fee: £780.

Full payment must be paid before the first day of the course

Cancellation and Refund policy:

All course fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Where cancellations are permitted, at the discretion of the Academy management, they must be received in writing and this must be within 7 days of making payment, and must be received not less than 7 days before the course commences.

Kits:
You are not required kit for this course

Uniform:
To attend this course you are required to wear a black tunic with black trousers, flat shoes (no heels) in black. If you don’t have a uniform, it is available to purchase at the academy.
