The VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (AG30202) is a practical-based qualification designed for those who assess both occupational competence in the work environment and vocational skills, knowledge, and understanding in non-work environments such as workshops, classrooms, or other training settings. This qualification prepares you for a career as an assessor of occupational competence in the workplace and vocationally related achievement in non-work environments. Entry onto this qualification requires full competence in the vocational subject area that you will be assessing and access to a cohort of learners to gather evidence of real assessments.
Course Structure:
- UV30563 Understanding the principles and practices of assessment
- UV30564 Assess occupational competence in the work environment
- UV30566 Assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding
The course is structured around theory, home study, homework assignments, online classroom and onsite classroom tuition, practical activities (onsite only), practical exams, and a complete portfolio of reference and evidence. We provide full support and guidance throughout the course.
Entry Requirements:
To enroll in this qualification, you must have full competence in the vocational subject area you will be assessing and access to a cohort of learners to gather evidence of real assessments.

Duration: This course can be completed in 8 weeks, plus one day for a practical exam, which could be done one day a week for 9 weeks. This course offers the opportunity for practice in a real working environment.
Next Available Training Dates: The course starts every Tuesday and Thursday. However, the dates are flexible from Monday to Saturday. Please contact us to arrange your convenient date.
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
All course fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Where cancellations are permitted, at the discretion of the Academy management, they must be received in writing within 7 days of making payment and not less than 7 days before the course commences.
Theory and Practical Training:
We offer both onsite and Virtual Learning Environment (online) training. We utilise a VLE to directly teach online and provide teaching materials. Students can attend from any location with internet, computer, phone, or tablet access and complete their course in a timely, safe, and practical manner. Theory, practical, and demonstration are delivered via the VLE. Attendance onsite is required only for practical assessments, practical exams, and online exams. Students who are unable to attend classes can access catch-up work, notes, materials, and session recordings.
Kits: No kit is required for this course. All necessary products for practice on the training day are provided.
Uniform: To attend this course, you are required to wear a black tunic with black trousers and flat shoes (no heels) in black. If you don’t have a uniform, it is available for purchase at the academy.
Certification:
By completing this course, you will receive the AG30202 VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement.
