ET3A1 – VTCT Level 3 Award in Education and Training aims to develop your knowledge and understanding of the teaching role. During this course, you will learn about preparation, planning, and basic course design. You will also gain teaching delivery skills and participate in microteaching sessions. Evaluation skills and techniques also form part of the course content. This qualification provides a sound introduction to teaching/training and is suitable for both experienced practitioners who would like to secure a professionally recognized qualification and those new to teaching. The VTCT Level 3 Award in Education and Training will enable you to work in a teaching role and progress to a broader teaching qualification.

Course Structure:

• UET1: Understanding roles, responsibilities, and relationships in education and training
• UET2: Understanding and using inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training
• UET5: Understanding assessment in education and training

The course is structured around theory, home study, homework assignments, online classroom and onsite classroom tuition, practical activities (onsite only), practical exam, and complete portfolio reference and evidence. We will provide you full support and guidance throughout until you complete your course.

We offer onsite and Virtual Learning Environment (online). We utilise a VLE to directly teach online and provide teaching materials. Students can now attend from any location provided they have internet, computer, phone, or tablet access and complete their course in a timely, safe, and practical manner. We are able to deliver our theory, practical, and demonstration via the VLE. This means attendance onsite is currently only required for practical assessment, practical exams, and online exams. This also means that students who are unable to attend classes or sessions can still be provided with catch-up work, notes, material, and session recordings.

Course Details
Course Fee: £780 Please be aware that PayPal fees will be added at checkout.
Duration: This course can be completed in 8 weeks plus one day practical exam, which could be done one day a week for 9 weeks. This course offers the opportunity for practice in a real working environment.
Next Available Training Dates: Every Tuesday and Thursday However, the dates are flexible from Monday-Saturday. Please contact us to arrange your convenient date.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
All course fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Where cancellations are permitted, at the discretion of the Academy management, they must be received in writing within 7 days of making payment and must be received not less than 7 days before the course commences.

Safety Protocols:
All necessary safety protocols will be followed during onsite practical activities and assessments.

Kits:
All necessary products for practice on the training day are provided. You are not required to purchase a kit for this course.

Uniform:
To attend this course, you are required to wear a black tunic with black trousers and flat shoes (no heels) in black. If you don’t have a uniform, it is available for purchase at the academy.

Certification:
By completing this course, you will receive ET3A1 – VTCT Level 3 Award in Education and Training.
