The Pregnancy Massage Training Course covers essential techniques and knowledge required to provide safe and effective massage for pregnant clients. This includes understanding the anatomy and physiology of pregnancy, contraindications, and appropriate massage techniques tailored to each trimester.

Course Structure:

The course is structured to include both theory and practical sessions. Students will start with the theoretical foundations before moving on to hands-on practice.

Entry Requirements:

This course is open to all individuals with a basic understanding of massage therapy. Prior certification in general massage therapy is recommended but not mandatory.

Course Details:

Course Fee: £300 (Full payment required before the course starts)
Duration: 5 days in total, from 11:00 – 17:30
Next Available Training Dates: The course operates on a rolling basis, with sessions available weekly. The next available dates are next Tuesday and Thursday. However, training dates can be arranged to suit your convenience on any day from Monday to Saturday. Please contact us to arrange your preferred date.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

All course fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Where cancellations are permitted, at the discretion of the Academy management, they must be received in writing and this must be within 7 days of making payment, and must be received not less than 7 days before the course commences.

Theory and Practical Training:

The course includes extensive theory sessions to build foundational knowledge, followed by practical training where students will practice on live models under supervision.

Treatment Procedure:

Students will learn and practice the entire treatment procedure, from client consultation to post-massage care, ensuring a holistic approach to pregnancy massage.

Safety Protocols:

Emphasis will be placed on adhering to safety protocols to protect both the therapist and the client. This includes proper positioning, pressure application, and hygiene standards.

Kits:

All necessary products for practice on the training day are provided, ensuring students have hands-on experience with the tools they will use professionally.

Uniform:

Students are required to wear a black tunic with black trousers and flat black shoes (no heels). If you do not have a uniform, it is available for purchase at the school.

Certification:

Upon successful completion of the course, a certificate will be issued directly from NJ Beauty Academy, recognised by other UK course providers.
